We're still in the testing phase but it looks like we're not seeing any performance benefit to disabling splunkdSSL and enabling multi_threaded_setup
. I understand that multi_threaded_setup
requires "a lot" of search peers to provide any gain, but I would have expected that disabling splunkd SSL would have given us some kind of performance boost.
