Using REST API to modify object properties

I can able to view the savedsearches properties , when i browse the below link:

https://localhost:8089/servicesNS/nobody/search/saved/searches

I could able to see options like...

list, reload,edit,disable,dispatch,history

but , when i click

"edit"

the page simply gets refreshed , i could not able to EDIT anything. I do have admin privileges

Can't i able to EDIT/MODIFY Splunk objects like this ? or do i need to use only curl, wget ?

Kindly help...
